You may have noticed that I haven’t written in a while.
Or maybe you didn’t. But that’s okay, I’ll tell you why anyway.
Deadlines.
Ugh. I hate them.
We are expecting 10 guests at the cabins down the road, and since Andy was put in charge of that project, he has been working feverishly to get them ready, and I have been helping as much as I can.
When you are quickly trying to install a bathrooom and kitchenette, it really stinks to not have all the parts you need. A trip to town takes at least three hours around here.
But it’s coming! We are getting there! And for this I am thankful. It looks like we might actually have the cabins ready when the guests come!
Last week, my sister Joanna called me up and said they wanted to get us a puppy to replace our dog that died.
Wow!
We kept it a surprise from Andy, and did everything on the sly.
Sunny, a three month old Golden Retriever, was flown up on Wednesday and picked up by a lady from church who was in Anchorage that day.
Boy was Andy surprised! We all love Sunny, and she has a real sweet personality. I even like her enough to let her be in the house most of the time!
That is unusual for me.
