An Evening In KJV

Now it came to pass in those days, that Tabitha did put some food on the coals to bake, and as the day was drawing to a close, she looked, and behold, her husband was upon the doorstep.

And when she had greeted him and kissed him, he said unto her, “Peradventure we could go into the next town after supper, for I must needs deliver a load of metal wherewith to roof an house.”

And immediately her heart felt heavy within her and her countenance was fallen, for she looked with dread upon the pots to be washed and the floor to be swept and garnished.

But she changed her countenance and said to him, “If thou wilt give water and provender unto the goat and the cattle and milk them, I will toil still in the house so that by and by our labors will be finished and we can travel together.”

And so they toiled with haste, both of them together, until finally they were ready to depart.

Now when Tabitha had taken the babe from his bed, behold, he wept sore, for he did not like to leave their dwelling, and his soul did abhor his carseat.

Nevertheless, Tabitha’s heart was light within her, for were they not all together in fellowship?

They continued there, until they reached the place whereunto the metal must be delivered, and they all worked with their might until the task was accomplished.

Moreover, as they journeyed home, they came upon a marketplace, and as it was nigh unto the road which they were traveling upon, they delayed their journey to partake of some dainties.

And they departed thence, much refreshed and rejoicing in the blessings wherewith God had blessed them.

I took this picture at 9:30 PM. Note the bright sunshine!
