We have never hired a professional photographer to take our family pictures, and I doubt we ever will.
Andy’s idea of a photo shoot is to all clump together, snap five photos in quick succession, then pick the best one and call it good.
Honestly, I think an hour long photography session would drive him crazy. Plus, money for perfect pictures is not in the budget.
So we capture a willing person who owns a camera, preferably when we’re dressed up anyway. Then we all clump together, and Click, Click, Click, Click, Click.
“That should be enough,” Andy remarks, standing up. “Pick the best one and call it good.”

For a “clump and click” photo session with four young children, I think it came out very well! Those aren’t always easy. 🙂

Lol! I hear you on that! But hour long sessions would drive my children crazy too! I want to do new family pictures but with a newborn I have to wait until the weather is right (unless we just settle for indoor pictures) and we’re dressed up… hopefully it’ll get done soon!
