Marinated Grilled Salmon

Andy and I went to a wedding reception last week, and for the meal they had salmon. It’s a treat for the folks visiting from the east, but here in Alaska most of us are a little tired of salmon by now.

However, once I tasted it I knew I needed the recipe. It was so good Andy and I both went back for seconds!

So if you ever get salmon, especially fresh salmon, try it marinated and grilled. You won’t be disappointed.

Marinated Grilled Salmon

1/4 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup olive oil

2 t. lemon pepper seasoning

1 t. thyme

1 t. parsley

1 t. basil

1/2 t. garlic powder

4 (6 oz) salmon fillets

Mix marinade in a gallon ziplock bag and add the salmon. Marinate 1-4 hours.

Grill 5-7 minutes per side.

  1. You’re threatening my grocery budget with all this salmon talk! 🙂 But $12ish dollars per pound…?

    1. Haha! It’s expensive here too, that’s why we catch our own! I guess that’s not an option for everyone.
