Andy is working every day this week an hour and a half away from home. Rather than him driving 3 hours every day and us only get to see him a little bit anyway, we decided to just go to work with him.
Some church friends live two miles down the road from the work site and have a camper for us to stay in, so we packed clothes and food for the week and moved on up.
It was hectic to get everything around spur-of-the-moment, but now that we’re here it’s a mini vacation for me. All I have to do is take care of children and do the phone job.
Granted, these two things take up most of the day, but I’ve been enjoying something different and it sure is good to see Andy at lunch and not have him leave so early in the morning.
It has also been fun to live in a camper again. They are set up so well and use the space they have so efficiently. If I’m honest with myself I’d have to admit I’ve missed living in a camper.
I wrote a post Tuesday evening but when I tried to post it, Google ate it instead. After that I didn’t much feel like trying again, so that is why I’m writing a day late this week.
I hope you all have a great weekend!
Great to hear from you, Dawn! Yes, it takes more effort with children but then they enjoy seeing Daddy more as well!
Yay for togetherness!!!
It is so fun to be able to follow your husband to work! Granted with children it takes more effort, I am finding out😃, but it is still so worth it.
Looking forward to seeing you’ll in a few weeks! Dawn
