Matt Snader, a guy from church, is getting his pilot’s license and one day last week Gabe and I got to go along and get a ride.
It was a little four seater airplane so there was only room for two passengers after the pilot and instructor. Andy took the youngest two children into town with him and they got a hitch put on the van.
Our church building is in the above picture beside the middle pond.
I was amazed how many lakes and ponds there are in this area when we got in the air. You can’t see very many from the road.
Above is Matt’s house. We did banking maneuvers around it for a while.
Pilot and copilot instructor. Or the back of their heads at least. Dwight is also a guy from church who is a licensed pilot.
Gabe was thrilled to get an airplane ride! While we were in the air he could be unbuckled and get up high enough to see out the windows.
