How To Get A Quick Workout Without Spending A Dime

Excercising can get expensive.

Treadmill. Excercise DVD’s. Barbells. Gym time. Weights.

I tend to avoid all cost and effort and not do much at all, except a walk or two.

But did you know that most people have excellent excercise equipment in their house that is absolutely free?

I’m not pulling your leg. This equipment provides a great leg and thigh workout and usually comes with your house when you move in!

It’s called the stairs.

Before you laugh and say, “That’s ridiculous,” go set a timer for five minutes and walk quickly up and down the stairs until it beeps.

I dare you.

I never knew five minutes could be so long.

    When our cardiac rehab patients say they can’t exercise inside when it’s cold, I tell them to go up & down the steps, do the length of the house, then repeat several times.
