It’s such a small thing –
Insignificant almost.
And yet to see their eyes light up
At the sight of it
As though they’ve had a wish granted
Makes the small effort worthwhile.
Apples and peanut butter –
An everyday snack.
But put sprinkles on top
And suddenly its colorful magic makes
A most delectable treat
what a great idea!!! I forget about those sprinkles. Maybe if I’d put them in a more convenient spot….
