It is so much fun to have people visit!! I didn’t think we would ever see some of our family up here, but now that Andy’s youngest sister Elaine is getting married in Palmer Alaska we get the whole family up here!
It makes a full house, but it is so good to have Andy’s siblings visit and show them our place. It’s our past and present colliding and it feels strange yet right somehow. One family is staying in our boat and the others have our room. Our children are jumping for joy because we get to stay in a tent.
Wednesday we all headed up to Palmer five hours away for the wedding this weekend. We don’t get to see our families very often so we’re enjoying every minute. I love seeing the cousins get to know each other a little better. This is one thing we really miss by being so far from family.
