I think being with family means more when you live far apart.
I know I’ve been really enjoying this special time with family and appreciating them in a way I haven’t before simply because it’s been a while since we were able to be together like this.
Isn’t it interesting that Christmas, this season we often celebrate with our families, was when God was separated from His Son when He came down to earth as an infant?
Jesus walked the earth for over thirty years before He was crucified and three days later rose from the dead. I know God exists outside space and time and time passing for us doesn’t effect Him, and yet I wonder if there was a big celebration in heaven when Jesus came back triumphant to sit on the throne within His Father.
I wonder.
