I love the establishments in Alaska’s small towns. They always serve more than one purpose.
We took our laundry to Talkeetna, a tiny little town a few miles away where most of the places are closed for the season.
The Roadhouse was open though, and they not only had a small laundromat, they also had showers, two hotel rooms, a coffee shop, two lounges and a restaurant. Oh, and they also had a place for a banquet or conference and wifi.
Alaskans can pack a lot into one small building!
So we got to hang out and use the wifi and play board games while we waited on our laundry to wash and dry. The children loved the toys in the lounge area as well.
