Living The Dream

It it has been raining most of the time for the last three weeks. Fall rainy season.

It’s pretty easy for me to get discouraged about how slowly the house is going, how the trailer isn’t selling, how it’s hard to do ANYTHING outside in the rain, but lately I’ve just had to stop and think.

What am I complaining about? We are wonderfully warm and dry in this little motorhome. We have plenty to eat. And best of all, we are together. We make breakfast together, work on the house together. Stay inside and play with the children when it’s too rainy together. Go fishing together.

I tell you, this is the life! Even if the house doesn’t get done till Christmas, I am so glad we moved here and don’t have any debt to worry about. It is so nice that Andy doesn’t have to work a job all day and then come home and try to get something done on the house.

So today is my thankful day. When progress is slow, I keep having to remind myself that all the important things are already taken care of, so what in the world is there for me to worry about?!

  1. It’s raining here too, but not all day, just keeping us out of the hay field. We branded Davies cattle today.

  2. You are a blessed little family. You are working hard and there there blessings to you beyond what you can work for. God is good.
