We have been having lot of company the last week! Cliff and Dawn, some good friends from Ohio came to visit and help us with the cabin for a couple days, and then Andy’s parents and sister came last Thursday.
It has been so good to have them here, and the children are loving having Grandma and Grandpa in a motorhome just a few steps away from ours!
We took them to the beach and had a picnic, and went blueberry picking in the Muskeg. We got enough for a pie and a blueberry coffee cake. So yummy!
They also helped pull off fireweed blossoms to make fireweed jelly.
Fireweed makes excellent jelly that I think tastes a little like grape. We love it!
We also got the trailer ready to sell and posted it on Craigslist. You can see the rafters of our house in the background. We plan to put on siding this weekend, and maybe get the logs up for the loft!
